The shatter resistant Berkey Light is made of high impact strength Non BPA Copolyester. The Berkey Light does not leach foul tasting plasticizers into your water and will not retain foul tastes and odors from waterborne contaminants.
The Berkey Light is so powerful it can be used to purify non-potable or unhealthy water in situations where electricity and water pressure are not available. For normal everyday situations or for hostile filtration environments, the Berkey Light is the most flexible and adaptable water filter available. How the Berkey Light Operates:
BPA free, the Berkey Light water purifiers are the most practical, user friendly and economical water purification systems available. To use, water is poured into the upper chamber. Gravity draws the water through the exclusive Black Berkey® purification elements. Contaminates are captured on and within the micro-porous purification elements and are separated from the water. The purified water then collects in the lower chamber where it can be drawn through the spigot. While in use, the system is joined together allowing the Berkey Light to be transported while it purifies water. This feature is useful when purified water is required in one location, such as in a food preparation area, and later in another location such as a dining area. There is no guesswork when refilling the system because the water level, in both chambers, is visible at all times. The elevated base raises the spigot level, allowing the Berkey Light to be utilized anywhere on a flat surface.

The all new 30 gallon Aquatank II, 60 gallon Aquatank II, 150 gallon Aquatank II and the 300 gallon Aquatank II are ideal for heavy duty applications when the Aquatank may not be strong enough. Unlike our previous models that were designed to be stagnant after filling. The new Aquatank II, with certain precautions, can be transported in an SUV, truck, camper or trailer, even when it has water in it, without the risk of damaging the unit. Of course with certain precautions.
The material used for the Aquatank II, is a heavy duty polyurethane coated nylon that is suitable for potable water. This material is highly puncture resistant, durable and flexible. It will not wrinkle, crease or crack. When not in use this unit can be folded or rolled up to take up almost no storage space (about 9" x 15" x 2").
The drain sleeve on the Aquatank II has a male garden hose attachment and the fill sleeve has a female attachment. This allows for easier filling and draining of the Aquatank and the ability to be hooked up for other applications.
